written competitive examination

(i) It is mandatory for General, SC and OBC category candidates to score 45 percent marks and for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category candidates to score 35 percent marks, otherwise they will be considered ineligible in the written competitive examination.

(ii) In written competitive examination question paper evaluation, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer and 1/4 negative mark will be given for each wrong answer.

(iii) Candidates will be allowed to take the question booklet of the written competitive examination with them after the examination.

(iv) O.M.R. Answer Sheet of the written examination will be in triplicate. The second copy of the OMR answer sheet will be preserved separately and the candidate will be allowed to take the third copy with him. Every candidate will compulsorily submit the original and duplicate answer sheet to the room invigilator. It is mandatory to have impressions in all copies.

(a) There will be four answer options for each question.

(b) If a candidate gives more than one answer to any question, it will be considered as a wrong answer, even if one of the given answers is correct, the same punishment as above will be given for that question.

(c) If a question is not attempted by the candidate, i.e. the answer is not given by the candidate, then no negative marks will be given for that question.

(d) Use of whitener or scratching/ tampering of substitutes etc. in the OMR sheet is prohibited and negative marks will be given for this also.

(f) If any candidate fails to complete his/ her O.M.R. Wrong roll number in the sheet. Or marks the booklet series in two places or does not mark anything, then his OMR. The sheet will not be evaluated and the candidate’s candidature will automatically be considered cancelled.

(g) Equal marks will be given to all the appeared candidates in the answers deleted by the agency.
